Quick Start WalkThrough

Get started with 6 Easy Steps

1) Login
2) Set Amazon User Details
3) Set Your Category Repricing Options
4) Set Your General Repricing Options
5) Download your inventory
6) Reprice!

1) Login

Once you have installed the BookRepricer program, locate BookRepricer in the programs menu and click it to run.
The first thing you must do when you run the program is to login, to do this, in the General Settings Tab, Under Repricer User Details, enter the username and password you chose when registering, then click the login button.

2) Set Amazon User Details

The repricer needs to have your Amazon User Details for it to reprice your inventory. Enter your Amazon Email and password in the provided boxes, then click retrieve to get your SellerID. If your details are correct then your SellerID will be displayed. Your username and amazon details will be remembered so you do not have to enter them next time

3) Set Your Category Repricing Options

These options control how the repricer will set your prices in comparison to your competition,
for details see the Price Settings section of the help.

Recommended start values for book category.

  • Ignore Category - UnChecked, meaning this category will be repriced.
  • Compare Quality - Any Condition.
  • Compare Conditions - Collectibles.
  • How Much Lower - 0.01
  • Min Price - 20%
  • Already Below Min - Skip Checked
  • Only One Price - 49.98
  • Max Price Drop - $10.00 | 50%

    4) Set Your General Repricing Options

These options control how the repricer will update your prices to Amazon, whether to automatically repeat, and what users to compare to.

    Price Update Mode
  • No Automatic Updates - Select this option to retrieve new prices without updating them on amazon, you can save the new prices by using the save in the inventory tab.
  • Automatic Item By Item - Select this option to update each price as it is retrieved.
  • Automatic Batch Updating - Select this option to update the prices automatically in batches, this is faster and the recommended automatic update option. (Requires SKU's)
  • Upload When Complete - Select this option to upload the prices at the end of the reprice, recomended only for small inventories. (Requires SKU's)
We recommend using No Automatic Updates first, while you adjust your settings to get your pricing options right.

    5) Download Your Inventory

BookRepricer can either download your inventory from amazon or you can load your own file.
To download your inventory, select the inventory view tab and select inventory->download.
The program will now request amazon to generate a new listing report, wait for it to be generated and then download it to the program.

This can take a few minutes depending on the size of your inventory and how busy amazons servers are.

    6) Reprice

Once you have retrieved your inventory you can begin the reprice.

Simply Click Begin to start the repricer retrieving your prices!

You can keep track of the progress by watching the new prices in the inventory List and the reason for that price under the heading reprice reason, and the overall progress in the progress bar.

All your settings will be stored so when your run it again all you need to do is download your inventory and begin.

That concludes the walk through, for more details, please check the rest of the help.
